Good news for drivers, the price of gasoline is going down.

The average price of a gallon of regular gasoline in West Virginia has fallen by 54 cents, from $4.12 in July to $3.58 today.

And it could fall even farther as some stations in northern Ohio are even selling gas for under $3 a gallon.

Experts say the decline is a direct result of lower oil prices.

The price for a barrel of oil has fallen to near $90 a barrel, almost $60 off its peak back in July.

If you want to find the lowest gas prices, just click on the gas prices icon on our website.

You will find a map with the locations of the cheapest gas stations in our region and across the country.
