Family members and friends are still trying to cope with the death of two close loved ones.
44 year old Charles "Chuck" Leadingham and his 42 year old wife, Denise, were killed after their motorcycle crashed on I-77 near Marietta.
"They were really nice and friendly," Brandon Austin said. "They were always there for you."
At the Leadingham funeral, hundreds of police officers, firefighters and EMS workers showed up to pay their last respects.
Chuck was a Sargeant with the Ashland Police Department.
"It really gives it a sense of home when it happens to someone as close as he is," Tom Epperly said.
Epperly is part of the Patriot Guard, a group that travels from town to town attending funerals for fallen police officers and veterans.
But he says this funeral isn't like any other, because on of his riders was related to the Leadinghams.
"It was important for us to not only be there for them, but also for Dave, a fellow rider," Epperly said.
Now family members say they can only hold on to eachother, after being forced to let go of two very special loved ones.
