Parents in Cabell County now have a high tech way to keep up with their students progress in the classroom.
The school district is using a system called Edline. It allows teachers to post things like grades, homework, and upcoming exams online.
Parents and students can then log on and check to see what is going on in class.
Teachers can also post announcements and links to websites they want their students to visit as part of class assignments. A link to the teacher's email address is also provided allowing parents and teachers to communicate quickly.
Parents said any tool that helps them monitor their children's progress is a good thing.
