Good news for minimum wage worker your paycheck is about to get a little bit bigger.

Minimum wage will go up 70 cents an hour, which will bring it to $6.55 per hour. Currently the minimum wage rate is $5.85.

This is the second of three annual increases required by a 2007 law.

Next year minimum wage will go up to $7.25 an hour.
