Workers continue getting Tri-State Racetrack and Gaming Center ready to host poker, blackjack, craps and roulette.
Opening the doors in the face of complaints about the track's progress, Tesler says the first wave of table games hiring should include about 300 people generating nearly 12 million dollars in payroll.

Tesler says once this phase is finished, the track's owners will be able to turn their attention to building a hotel and making other improvements toward keeping their promise of providing a thousand new jobs connected to table games.
