More than 15,000 people in West Virginia were without power after severe storms pass through the area early Tuesday morning.
Along with power outages, the storms also did major damaged to property around the state.
A tree hit a house, a car, and a truck in Ravenswood.
Downed trees blocked railroad tracks in Sherman and damaged a camper. Trees were also down in Wirt, Wood , Pleasants, Braxton and Ritchie Counties.
American Electric Power says all but about 500 of the 6000 customers who lost power have had service restored.
Allegheny power had about 9000 customers lose service in the northern part of West Virginia.
