The second case of West Nile Virus is identified in Kanawha County.
The mosquito borne illness was found in a pool in the lower falls area of St. Albans.
The first case was identified in early June in the Big Ben area of Tornado.
West Virginia has the highest numbers for the virus.
Stagnant water in buckets, watering cans, rimless tires, unused swimming pools, bird baths, flower pots and garbage piles are some of the hot spots that can breed mosquitos.
