State Police are saying 20-year-old Brendan Vilone has confessed to downloading child pornography videos at his grandmothers home on Piedmont Road in Wayne County.

According to the criminal complaint, the videos and pictures contain young girls, ages three to nine, being sexually assaulted. Neighbors in the area don't understand how Vilone could be responsible.

"What I've seen from growing up, I've never seen or never heard anything out of that kid like that," Rick Brown said.

Brown has known Vilone since he was three years old, and says he's always been kind and polite.

"Always been good to me, real nice. Never known anything else out of him," Brown said.

Vilone is being held at the Western Regional Jail in Barboursville, and his bond has been set at $90,000.
