Walking up the driveway of her brand new half a million dollar home, Ashley Dills is at a loss for words. Ashley and her family were watching our St. Jude Telethon when her life changed, her name was pulled as the winner of the St. Jude Dream Home.
Ashley and her fiancé John say remembering what St. Jude does for children with cancer, and patients like Ben Bowen, the brave little boy whose battle with cancer sparked the start of the St. Jude Dream Home in West Virginia, is what matters most.
Ashley says she's not certain whether or not she will keep the house, but she's getting married in August and a half a million dollar home would certainly be a wonderful wedding gift.
