Bobbi Myer's mother Elizabeth died in May. Her death possibly caused by a drug meant to save her life.
Elizabeth Starr suffered a massive heart attack back in january. Doctor's put her on Digitek to help regulate her heart beat until she could get a defibulator but Starr suddenly died May 5, 2008.
Myers has since filed lawsuit against the manufacturer of Digitek, Actavis and its distributor Mylan Pharmaceuticals alleging the Digitek pills caused her mothers death because they contained double the prescribed dosage of the drug.
Actavis recalled Digitek on april 25-th claiming the drug could be deadly.
Lawyers for Myers say at least one hundred people have contacted them about loved ones who have taken the drug.
