A stolen rare guitar shows up in eastern Kentucky and now a court battle is on the horizon.
The 1950s proto-type to today's electric guitar was stolen from Nashville back in 1996 just before it was to go into the Grestch guitar museum.
However, the Greenup County Sheriff's Department found the six string last month after a South Shore man called the manufacturer to find parts to make it work.
Now the family of it's creator wants it back to put into the museum, but the man who has it says the guitar should be his since he didn't know it was stolen.
Both sides now plan to go to court and have a judge decide what happens to the guitar.
