With Hillary Clintons win over Barack Obama by more than 147,000 votes, some Kentucky residents are hoping for a similar outcome of the West Virginia Primary.
Emily Painter is a Republican, but says when it comes to this election her vote is for Obama. She says even though Clinton is leading in the Kentucky polls, she hopes people will listen to what Obama has to offer.
"I think people will listen hopefully, before the election on Tuesday and vote their heart, and not their prejudice." said Painter.
Painter says the results in West Virginia could play a role in Kentucky's race, but she is staying optimistic for change. According to polls, Clinton has a 32% lead over Obama in Kentucky.
