Cross country rider galloped into Huntington Wednesday afternoon to support a cause. Mick Thompson has been traveling cross country to raise awareness about what children are seeing on television. He says he wants to see curse words bleeped or not used at all. Thompson started his trip in 2003 and has travel the country with his two faithful companions. He has nothing more than a few changes of clothes and a blanket as modern comforts on his long haul. Thompson says as a show of just how passionate he is he gave up all of his belongings before hitting the dusty trail. Thompson started his journey in Oregon almost five years ago and hope to end this summer in Maine.
