DRUG RAID A Major Drug Raid Gets Two Dozen Arrests In Nicholas County

Targeting 43 people, Nicholas County Deputies, Troopers, Summersville Police and the Central West Virginia Drug Task Force moved out early on Tuesday. By noon they had 24 of those people in custody. The charges ranged from drug dealing to prescription fraud. The suspects were processed at the Summersville Armory. Deputies say it would be difficult to make these kinds of arrests without the drug task force. The warrants included people from surrounding counties, but all the drug deals took place in Nicholas County. Deputies say people from Kanawha, Clay and Webster Counties go to Nicholas County to buy meth making materials
