The high price of fuel has put a strain on just about everyone's budget, especially truckers. Jim Gillespie has been a truck driver for 20 years, but now he has to sell his truck to avoid bankruptcy. Gillespie decided to staged a sit in on his truck, trying to spur other drivers to do the same, and avoid the pump. To fill up one truck it costs about $1200.00 to $2500.00 per week. For drivers, it's like throwing a dollar out the window every mile they drive. Hundreds of truck drivers will be making the trip to Charleston Friday to protest high fuel prices. They will rally at noon in hopes they can draw some attention to their cause.
