Investigators charged Matthew Curtis with the murder of Maynard Wiggins Wednesday afternoon. Detectives say 20-year-old Matthew Curtis shot and killed Wiggins and left his body along a Cabell County road. Curtis was silent as he was arraigned on murder charges. Wiggins was visiting Huntington when he was found shot to death along Four Pole Road. The Cabell County Sheriff Department credits the Huntington Police Department with helping solve the case. Police picked Curtis up a week ago for failing to appear in court, he was already in jail when charged with Wiggins murder.
Curtis will be back in court April 4th for his preliminary hearing. Investigators say two others linked in the Wiggins case were also arrested on drug charges. MORE NEWS FROM EYEWITNESS NEWS
