Super Bowl festivities mean many will be consuming adult beverages. On Sunday afternoon, the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department is cracking down on underage drinking. You're listening to part of an undercover sting operation aimed at cracking down on underage drinking. Police along the Organization Communities That Care are working on curbing the problem. Deputies conduct stings every month or so, and especially on occasions like the Super Bowl or St. Patrick' s Day. Decoys use their real ID's to try and buy alcohol from stores. Out of the four places deputies went only Foodland on Spring Street sold alcohol to the decoy. Decoys, who we've agreed not to show on camera, say they volunteer to help make a difference.
