FATAL ACCIDENTfrom Eyewitness News Online Accident in Kanawha County Kills One Person

A car crash in Kanawha County kills one person and sends five others to the hospital. It happened shortly after 11 a.m. Tuesday.
Police say one car was attempting to cross the four lane road from Childress Road to Eagle Drive in South Charleston when it struck another vehicle. One driver was pinned in a vehicle and had to be cut out by firefighters. The victims' names have not been released. Charges are pending.
