But there appeared to be a lot of spotty crime. You can tell just by looking at the map quite a few dots marking all the crime in the capital city this past week.

But out of all these robberies, break ins, and other crimes, more than 40 of them occurred in the southern part of Charleston. These yellow dots are just a few of the most recent crimes reported in the southern area. Most of them were car break-ins. Some of them happened very close together. Four break-ins happened within a half hour in South Charleston and then another two break-ins occurred within a half hour in Jefferson as well.

Not too many serious crimes were reported, however there were three cases of malicious wounding on the west side of Charleston. But they don't appear to be connected in any way.

Remember you can help us catch some criminals Tuesday nights during our Fugitive Files on Eyewitness News at six and, hopefully, we'll see you then.
