"American Idol"-Guys
LOS ANGELES
He's the youngest guy -- but he's having a big impact on "American Idol." The judges liked Aaron Kelly's version of "I'm Already There" on last night's show. But Kara DioGuardi thought at 16, Aaron is too young to understand the emotional impact of the Lonestar hit. Simon Cowell has one word for her opinion -- "rubbish." Randy Jackson says Aaron has the makings of a great singer. Tonight, two guys and two gals are given the boot. So, we'll know who is going to be in this season's top-12.

NASHVILLE, Tenn.
Carrie Underwood fans are being asked to set their sights a little higher on her next tour. As in the rafters. She says she plans to pull out a bunch of different tricks when she kicks off her concert tour tonight in Reading, Pennsylvania. For one thing, she plans to soar over her audience at one point. It's all part of her evolution as an artist. She says now that she has a longer set list, she can add more production elements to the tour. She says the tweaks are like "the bells and whistles and sprinkles on the cupcake." Before the "Play On Tour" ends in June, Underwood will have done 50 dates in the United States and Canada.

NASHVILLE, Tenn.
She has racked up sales and number-one songs by the barrel-ful. But now that she has had a lot of success, Carrie Underwood says she isn't as interested in the numbers game as she used to be. But now, she says she's less worried about the statistics because she's happy. She says when she used to care so much about the numbers, her happiness would depend on whether they were up or down. But now that she's happier as a person, the other stuff just seems to fall into place.
