We have two places to tell you about in this week's Behind the Kitchen Door, so let's get straight to it. We start out at the Pizza Hut at 311 Hurricane Creek Road in Hurricane. Inspectors found 29 violations, including 12 critical. Here's a list of things they said were dirty at the Pizza Hut: the inside of the ice machine, the ice bucket, scoop and handle, spoons, tongs, pans and lids, and some spatulas. Those were all cleaned before the inspectors left. There was also too much sanitizer being used in the dishwasher.
Up next, Spicy Pineapple at 3743 Route 34 in Hurricane. Inspectors found 27 violations-16 critical. There was undated food in two different coolers, and they also had a long list of things needing to be cleaned-the inside of two coolers, the microwave, the mixer, utensils, silverware, and silverware bucket. All those were cleaned.
