BEHIND THE KITCHEN DOOR
We have a lot of places to tell you about this week, so lets get straight to this week's Kitchen Door Report.
RECENT KITCHEN DOORS OPENEDTopping our list is Texas Steakhouse at 2815 Mountaineer Blvd. in South Charleston. Inspectors found 10 violations, including 1 critical. There was mildew growing on the inside of the ice machine, there is an opening at the base of the wall by the mop sink. The hood by the fryer was also dirty. Up next, Longhorn Steakhouse at 91 RHL Blvd in South Charleston. Inspectors found 8 violations, 1 critical. The buttermilk was being stored at an improper temperature and the drain line was leaking at the butter dipper well. That's it for the places needing improvement. We have several places with good reports this week. The Bob Evans in Elkview, Cozumel in Ashton Place and the Hibachi at Trace Fork all did good jobs this week. Our thumbs up goes to the folks over at the concession stand at Laidley Field. They say the inspectors showed up right before the game and they still had a perfect score. Great job. Don't forget, you can get your first look at Behind the Kitchen Door Thursday on Eyewitness News This Morning. I'm Patrick McMurtry, I'll see you then. |
