Emeril Lagasse & Sam Choy Hawaiian Luau: Traditional Lomi Lomi Salmon

Make it a traditional Hawaiian luau with all the extras! From Good Morning America's Emeril Lagasse and Hawaiian chef, Sam Choy, Traditional Lomi Lomi Salmon.

Ingredients
  • 4 cups salted salmon, diced
  • 12 tomatoes, diced
  • 4 small red onions, diced
  • 1 cup green onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 to 2 Hawaiian chili peppers or
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Directions

    1. Combine all ingredients and mix well.

    2. Serve well chilled.

    (Salted salmon comes with various degrees of saltiness, so it's a good idea to taste it before making this dish. If it's too salty, you need to soak it overnight in enough water to cover and then rinse it twice before using.)

    Serves 24
