Michelle Forbes Dr. Lyla Garrity on Wonderland 
Michelle Forbes stars as Dr. Lyla Garrity, who heads up the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program, a.k.a. CPEP (a critical response facility for people suffering psychiatric emergencies), in the ABC Television Network's new, hour-long medical drama, "Wonderland." The series is set in the fictional New York City Rivervue Hospital, the world's Mecca for psychiatric medicine.Ms. Forbes portrayed Dr. Julianna Cox from 1996-98 in the multi-award-winning and critically acclaimed "Homicide: Life on the Streets," and starred in "The Prosecutors," a two-hour, made-for-television drama, with Stockard Channing. Among Ms. Forbes feature film credits are "Kalifornia," a thriller with Brad Pitt, Juliette Lewis and David Duchovny; "Swimming With Sharks," a drama with Kevin Spacey; and John Carpenter's "Escape from L.A.," with Kurt Russell. Born in Austin, Texas, Ms. Forbes lived, trained and acted in New York City for many years before also establishing a residence in Los Angeles. She now calls both coasts home.
