Laura Hall & Linda Taylor Musicians on "Whose Line Is It Anyway?"
Laura Hall got her start in Chicago at The Second City as an improvisational pianist, composer and musical director. There she wrote music for the Jeff Award winning revue "Channel This" and several other musicals. including "Up with Puberty," "The Last Freak Show" and "Patty, Patty, Bang! Bang!" which won an L.A. Weekly award for Best New Musical.Laura has written and produced two albums of original children's music -- "I See A Tiger" and "Come Join the Parade." She also produced Dan Castellaneta's recent Oglio Records release, "Two Lips." She has written scores for several independent films, television pilots, theatrical plays and radio shows. She can often be seen around Los Angeles playing and singing with her band, The Trinkets.
As a sideman, LT's guitar work can be heard on releases from Kiki Ebsen, Kevyn Lettau, Glenys Rogers, jazz keyboardist Al Daniels, Chante Moore, Maia Sharp, and on theme music from "The Roseanne Show." Her work with artists Chante Moore, Tracy Chapman and Namie Amuro includes several live and recorded videos. LT is also a veteran of the talk-show circuit, having appeared on Letterman, Leno, Rosie O'Donnell, Conan O'Brian and "The Roseanne Show," as well as VH1's "Crossroads." She recently released her debut CD, "Pulse," on her own Rubicon Music label.
