Ms. Cusack has been the recipient of a number of American Comedy Awards, most recently for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in "Runaway Bride," opposite Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. She has appeared in such films as "Arlington Road," with Jeff Bridges, director Stephen Frears' "High Fidelity," starring her brother, John Cusack, and director Tim Robbins' "Cradle Will Rock," with Bill Murray.

Ms. Cusack's filmography includes comedic femme fatale roles in "Where the Heart Is," "Addams' Family Values," "Grosse Point Blank," "Nine Months," "The Cabinet of Dr. Ramirez" (directed by Peter Sellers), "Corrina, Corrina," "Toys," "Hero," "My Blue Heaven," "Men Don't Leave," "Broadcast News," "Say Anything" and "Sixteen Candles," among others. She made her screen debut in Tony Bill's "My Bodyguard" at age 15.

Ms. Cusack's small screen appearances include a regular role on "Saturday Night Live" during the show's 1985-86 season, and a starring role alongside Anne Bancroft in the BBC production of Paddy Chayefsky's "The Mother."

Her theatrical work includes the premiere of "Brilliant Traces" at New York's Cherry Lane Theatre, "The Road" at La Mama and Imogen in "Cymbeline" at The Public Theater in New York. Ms. Cusack portrayed Helena in "A Midsummer's Night Dream" at The Goodman Theatre in Chicago, and was directed by Joanne Akalitis in "'Tis a Pity She's a Whore."

Raised in Evanston, Illinois, Ms. Cusack studied acting at the Piven Theatre Workshop. While at the University of Wisconsin in Madison -- where she graduated with a degree in English -- she appeared with the improv group "The Ark." Ms. Cusack resides in Chicago with her husband, internet attorney Dick Burke, and two sons, Dylan, three years old, and Miles, seven months.
