Arnold Vosloo Vincent Siminou on Veritas: The Quest
Born in Pretoria, South Africa, Arnold Vosloo established an exceptional reputation as an actor in his native country before coming to America.Vosloo is best known for playing the title role in the box office blockbuster films "The Mummy" and "The Mummy Returns." Other film credits include "Con Express," "Zeus and Roxanne," "Darkman II: The Return of Durant," "Darkman III: Die Darkman Die," Ridley Scott's "1492: Conquest of Paradise," "Skeleton Coast," "Steel Dawn" and John Woo's "Hard Target." Vosloo earned recognition for his extensive work in South African theater with Best Actor awards for his roles in "Don Juan" and "More Is In Lang Dag," and a Best Supporting Actor award for "Torch Song Trilogy." As a regular performer at South Africa's State Theater, he obtained leading roles in "Hamlet," "Twelfth Night" and "Savages." On the silver screen Vosloo won Dalro Awards for Best Actor for "Circles in a Forest" and "Boetie gaan border toe," and a Best Actor nomination for the film version of "More is in Lang Dang," all of which were South African productions. After moving to the United States, he co-starred with Al Pacino and Sheryl Lee in a Circle In The Square production of "Salome." American television guest appearances include the series "Charmed," "Nash Bridges," "American Gothic" and "Strange World." Vosloo currently resides in Los Angeles.
