Anne "Lark" Larkin on Threat Matrix

Melora Walters Melora Walters is best known for her haunting performance as the sympathetic drug addict, Claudia, in Paul Thomas Anderson's "Magnolia." This fall she will appear in "Matchstick Men," opposite Sam Rockwell and Alison Lohman, and at Christmas she'll appear in Anthony Minghella's epic Civil War tale, "Cold Mountain," with Jude Law, Nicole Kidman and Renee Zellwegger. Early next year she will co-star in New Line's "Butterfly Effect," as Andrea, the mother of a young boy who tries to change the future, opposite Ashton Kutcher and Amy Smart.

Walters recently starred in Katherine Lindberg's drama, "Rain," which premiered at the Venice Film Festival. In addition she starred in the independent comedy "Wise Girls," opposite Mira Sorvino and Mariah Carey, which is scheduled to debut on television later this year. Other film credits include Paul Thomas Anderson's "Boogie Nights" and "Hard Eight," "Dead Poet's Society," "Eraser," Tim Burton's "Ed Wood" and "Twenty Bucks," with Brendan Fraser and Elisabeth Shue.

Television credits include a series regular role on "L.A. Doctors," a recurring role on Ben Affleck and Sean Bailey's "Push, Nevada," and guest appearances on "Roseanne," "NYPD Blue," "Picket Fences," "Seinfeld" and Showtime's telefilm, "Dead Man's Revenge."

Walters was born in Saudi Arabia and spent part of her childhood in Holland. As a young adult she was active in sports and dance, both of which helped to shape her desire to perform. After studying abroad, she returned to America to pursue a career as an artist at the Pratt Institute in New York. With the encouragement of her art professors, she began to write plays and experiment with acting. She soon found her way to the legendary Actor's Studio and began performing in various Off-Broadway productions, including "Scream and Dances of Bronx Bear" and "Burt Lancaster" at the Manhattan Class Company.

Also an accomplished artist, writer and painter who enjoys outdoor sports like swimming, running and skiing, Walters is fluent in French and Dutch. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
