Kelly Rutherford is probably best known for starring as Megan Mancini in the long-running Fox series, "Melrose Place," as an ex-prostitute who faced the daily challenges of living down her past as she tried to build a better future. Recent projects included a recurring role on Fox Television's acclaimed drama, "Get Real," and a cameo appearance as Lady Maria Cosway in the CBS miniseries "Sally Hemings: An American Scandal."

Her other television credits include regular roles on a trio of Fox series, including the vampire drama "The Kindred", the comic western series, "The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.," and the legal exposé, "The Great Defender." She initially made a strong impression on ABC's World War II drama, "Homefront," followed by the CBS courtroom series, "Courthouse," and has made guest appearances on ABC's "Davis Rules," NBC's "Private Sector" and "Homicide" and FOX's "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure."

Rutherford has appeared in several films for television, including "Skyjacked" for ABC, "The Haunting" and "No Greater Love" for NBC and "Some Kind of Life" for CBS.

On the big screen she has starred in Wes Cravens "Scream 3," Charles Shyer's "I Love Trouble," with Nick Nolte and Julia Roberts, DJ Caruso's short film, "Cyclops Baby," written by Scott Rosenberg, and she recently did an independent movie, "Angels Don't Sleep Here."
