Following high school, Thomas spent a year abroad working as a stone mason in Scotland and traveling around Europe. He then returned to attend the University of Kansas. While pursuing his degree, a BGS in theater and film, he continued to build his stage resume with leads in such productions as "Offending the Audience," "The Boys Next Door" and "Betrayal," as well as being involved in the development of an original production, "Here and Now."

After college, he went to San Diego and worked as a carpenter at the Old Globe Theatre. He was signed to a theatrical and commercial contract and then moved to Los Angeles to pursue work in television and film.

He has guest starred in a number of television series, including "V.I.P.," "The Visitor," "U.S.A. High" and "Sweet Valley High." He has also been featured in the independent films, "Sleeper," "To the Cuckoo's Calling" and "One Last Fling."

Thomas, still making Los Angeles his home, enjoys hiking, traveling, playing guitar and watching movies. He hopes to continue his success in television and film, while working live theatre back into his life.
