It was in high school where Susan discovered her passion for acting. Her interest and hard work resulted in being offered a full scholarship to the acting program at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.

During her freshman year, Susan's performance in a college play got the attention of a drama teacher, who invited her to study for one year at the National Theatre of Great Britain in London.

In her sophomore year, she began her professional career. She was discovered by an ABC casting director at an acting competition at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., acquired an agent and went on to appear on ABC's "One Life to Live" for a semester. She returned to college to pursue her passion in the theater while continuing to perform professionally in regional shows, such as "St. Joan," "A Shayna Maidel" and "Hedda Gabler."

Following college, she moved to Los Angeles, but after experiencing two earthquakes and the Los Angeles riots within a six-month period, she cashed in her frequent flyer miles and fled to New York City with all her belongings in one suitcase.

Her extensive stage experience includes the New York City premieres of Steve Martin's "Picasso at the Lapin Agile," "Young Girl and the Monsoon," "Gravity of Means," "Ghost in the Machine" and "Delores."

Her film credits include "Big Night," "Breathing Room," "Chinese Coffee" co-starring Al Pacino, and "Random Hearts," directed by Sidney Pollack and starring Harrison Ford.

Among her television credits are guest appearances on "Law & Order," "OZ" and ABC's "Spin City."

Susan, who cites friends and family as the highest priorities in her life, enjoys traveling, swimming, bicycling and volunteering.

Although she currently resides in the New York area, she looks forward to returning to Los Angeles.
