Lenny Venito
Francis "Squatch" Squacieri on The Knights of Prosperity

Lenny Venito Lenny Venito has made his mark on the big screen, appearing in Steven Spielberg's 2005 summer blockbuster "War of the Worlds." A seasoned performer, Venito has also appeared on the silver screen in "The Honeymooners," "Rounders," "Tony and Tina's Wedding," "Above Freezing," "Laying Low," "Just the Ticket", "Gigli," "Money for Nothing" and "Duane Hopwood." His vocal talents were showcased in Walt Disney's animated hit "The Wild" and Dreamworks' "Shark Tale."

In addition to his work in film, Venito has an established television career. He has had recurring roles in such popular series as "Rescue Me," "The Sopranos" and "NYPD Blue," as well as guest starring on multiple hit shows, including "Law & Order," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "Blind Justice" and the NBC miniseries "Witness to the Mob."

Venito's first foray into acting occurred during his teenage years living in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Unable to locate a store that sold play scripts, he prepared for his audition for Manhattan's High School of the Performing Arts by renting "The Odd Couple" the night before. He put the tape in, waited for an actor to talk for a long time and transcribed the dialogue. The next morning he rehearsed two monologues for his mother (one as "Felix," the other as "Oscar") before going to the audition. Venito was one of the 70 students selected out of 4,000 to attend the prestigious Performing Arts school that year, and he went on to graduate from the drama program.

Exhibiting his theatrical skills in several on-stage productions, Venito has appeared in the Manhattan Class Company's production of "Gravity of Means," Playwrights Horizons' "Psycho Neurotic Fantasies," and "Filumena" at both Blue Light Theatre and Williamstown.

Outside of performing, Venito's hobbies include poker and golf.
