Josh Grisetti
Louis Plunk on The Knights of Prosperity

Josh Grisetti Josh Grisetti makes his network television debut in the role of Louis Plunk, an ultra-nerdy college student who inadvertently joins a gang of misfits prepping for a major celebrity heist. Amazingly, this is the first television series for which Grisetti ever auditioned.

Born in Washington, DC, Grisetti and his two older sisters were raised just outside of Roanoke, VA. His new role as a criminal is ironic considering his mother works as a law enforcement coordinator for the U.S. Attorney's office and his father, a former police officer, runs campus security. A self-proclaimed class clown growing up, Grisetti's teachers encouraged him to use his creative energy. He began acting in middle school, soon after learned he could sing, and continued performing in high school and community theater. He earned a high school diploma in Drama at the North Carolina School of the Arts, and in 2004 got his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from The Boston Conservatory.

While in Boston, the versatile Grisetti was tapped for two unique professional experiences: In 2001 he was chosen for a human movement ensemble with the White Oak Dance Project's "Past Forward" with Mikhail Baryshnikov; the modern dance performance ran as a special limited engagement at Boston's Shubert Theater. And in 2003 he was selected as a vocal soloist with the "Boston Pops" for a holiday concert at Symphony Hall.

Grisetti honed his craft in regional stage productions of "Camelot," "Grease," "Follies," "The Pied Piper," "Cask of Amontillado," "The Merry Widow," "Cosi Fan Tutte," "Soup, Soap & Salvation" and "The Music Man." He received a Carbonell Award nomination for Best Actor for his leading performance in "Where's Charley?," with the Caldwell Theatre Company in Boca Raton, Florida. His New York theater credits include "Three Musketeers" at the Wings Theatre, "Lotto" at the Theatre Studio and "After the Ball" at the Irish Rep.

Grisetti can be seen in the upcoming feature film "The Namesake" and in the independent drama "The Sandpiper." He also has a leading role in the forthcoming independent comedy "Public Interest," a mocumentary about a reality television program.

And Grisetti's creative abilities do not stop at performing. The Manhattan resident has taken up the hobby of planting corn in Central Park.
