Craig Bierko Harlan Brandt on The Court
Craig Bierko made his Broadway debut in Meredith Willson's "The Music Man." His portrayal of Harold Hill garnered critical acclaim, a Theatre World Award and nominations for a Tony Award, a Drama Desk Award, an Outer Critics Circle Award and a Drama League Award. He also starred on Broadway in Susan Stroman's "Thou Shalt Not."Bierko recently played Sarah Jessica Parker's love interest on "Sex and the City," and he stars in the feature film "I'm With Lucy," opposite Monica Potter, Henry Thomas and Julie Christie. Born in Westchester, New York, Bierko debuted on stage at the age of 10 as a newsboy in a production of "Gypsy" at a local community theatre run by his parents. He went on to study at Northwestern University. He has enjoyed a diverse series of film roles, ranging from the villain in Renny Harlin's "The Long Kiss Goodnight," opposite Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson, to a comedic turn in Larry David's "Sour Grapes" and the virtual reality thriller, "The Thirteenth Floor." Additional film credits include "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas," "The Suburbans" and "Kate & Leopold." Among Bierko's television credits are memorable guest appearances on a Valentine's Day episode of "Ally McBeal," and as Paul Reiser's prospective agent on "Mad About You."
