Justice Lucas Voorhees on The Court

Chris Sarandon in The Court Veteran actor Chris Sarandon's career spans stage, television and film. He made his television debut on the long-running Daytime drama, "The Guiding Light," followed by an auspicious film debut as Al Pacino's lover in "Dog Day Afternoon," a role that garnered him an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor. His feature film credits include "Protocol," opposite Goldie Hawn, "Fright Night," "The Princess Bride," as the comically villainous prince, "Just Cause," "Little Men," and Sam Peckinpah's thriller, "The Osterman Weekend."

Sarandon has had recurring roles on such powerful dramas as "ER," "Chicago Hope" and "Felicity," as well as a guest-starring appearance on "Judging Amy." Among his telefilm credits are: "A Murderous Affair: The Carolyn Warmus Story"; "David's Mother"; "The Stranger Within"; "Mayflower Madam," starring Candice Bergen; "A Tale of Two Cities," with Peter Cushing and Nigel Hawthorne; and "You Can't Go Home Again," his first significant role playing the Thomas Wolfe character in the Hallmark Hall of Fame production.

Sarandon made his Broadway debut in "The Rothschilds" as Jacob Rothschild -- the brother who takes France -- opposite Hal Linden and Robby Benson. He appeared as Proteus in the Tony Award-winning production of "Two Gentlemen of Verona," John Guare's musical adaptation of the Shakespeare play, and he starred on Broadway in the lavish "Nick & Nora," a musical adaptation of "The Thin Man."

Sarandon also provided the voice of Jack Skellington in the imaginative stop-motion animation feature, "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas."
