Jason Gedrick
Reese McFadden on The Beast

Jason Gedrick has been highly visible in television during the past few years, having regular roles in the series, "Falcone," "EZ Streets" and ABC's "Murder One." He also guest starred on "Ally McBeal" and starred in the miniseries "The Last Don" and "The Last Don II."

A Chicago native, Gedrick got his first acting break during high school when the movie "Bad Boys," starring Sean Penn, was shooting on location there. Gedrick landed some work as an extra, and Penn's encouragement inspired him to pursue an acting career seriously.

From there he segued into several features, including Oliver Stone's "Born on the Fourth of July" and Ron Howard's "Backdraft," as well as "Iron Eagle," "Promised Land," "Crossing the Bridge" and "Silent Cradle."

Those films led to his first prominent TV work, headlining the cast of the drama series "Class of '96," as well as a regular role on the law series "Sweet Justice."

Gedrick will soon be seen in the Warner Bros. feature "Summer Catch," with Freddie Prinze, Jr. and the independent feature "One-Eyed King," opposite William Baldwin, Chazz Palminteri and Armand Assante.

Additionally Gedrick has starred on Broadway in "Our Town" with Don Ameche and Helen Hunt, and Off-Broadway in "Mrs. Dally Has A Lover" with Judith Ivey.
