Elizabeth Mitchell Elizabeth Mitchell made her breakthrough performance when she starred opposite Angelina Jolie in the acclaimed HBO telefilm "Gia," endearing her to audiences and critics alike.

The year 2000 was a busy one for the actress. She co-starred in "Frequency," opposite Dennis Quaid, and also starred in the title role in the telefilm "The Linda McCartney Story." Mitchell appeared in last summer's critically acclaimed film, "Nurse Betty," opposite Renee Zellweger and Greg Kinnear.

Elizabeth earned a BFA degree in acting from Stephens College and also studied at the British American Drama Academy. Additionally she spent six years at the respected Dallas Theatre Center and one year with the theatre's Encore Company. Her theatrical stage credits include productions of "As You Like It," "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," "Measure for Measure," "Baby" and "Chicago," among others.


Recently Elizabeth has completed shooting two starring roles in the independent films "Double Bang" and "Hollywood Palms."
