Mr. Baker, who has been honored by the Kennedy Center with the Irene Ryan National Award for acting excellence and the Detroit Free Press Theater Excellence Award for Best Actor for his performance in the title role of "Peer Gynt" at the Hilberry Repertory Theater, has an extensive body of theatrical credits, including roles in "Portia Coughlin," "Goose-Pimples," "End Game," "Hayfever," "Underground," "Clive Barker's Son of Celluloid" and "Clive Barker's In the Flesh." He also has appeared in "The Foreigner," "Twelfth Night," "False Admissions," as well as title roles in "Dracula," "The Frog Prince" and "Richard III."

Television viewers may best know him for his role as Nibblet on "The Secret Diary of Desmond Pfeiffer." Mr. Baker's television and film credits also include "Van-pires," "Majdhar" and "Karamazov."

Mr. Baker, who resides in New York City, enjoys cycling and playing soccer, chess, "beer-mat flipping" and darts in his spare time. He also paints and writes plays.
