Joanie Binder on Regular Joe

Much like her character, Joanie, Kelly Karbacz grew up in Queens, New York. At a very young age, it was evident that her true passions were acting and singing. She graduated from the prestigious Stuyvesant High School in New York City and later attended the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, part of the highly-rated Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.

Her television credits include guest starring roles on "Queens Supreme," "Undeclared," "Third Watch," "Law & Order" and "Law & Order: SVU." Karbacz recently appeared in the world premiere of Alfred Uhry's play, "Without Walls," at the Williamstown Theater Festival. Her other theater appearances include the Lincoln Center production and national touring company of Rodgers and Hammerstein's classic, "The Sound of Music."
