Dr. Eve Lambert on Port Charles

Julie Pinson portrays the intelligent and determined Dr. Eve Lambert on the ABC Daytime drama "Port Charles." Striving to put the past behind her, Eve's relationship with the charismatic Dr. Kevin Collins has given her a new confidence and a bright outlook on life. But when Dr. Ian Thornhart arrived in Port Charles, her love for Kevin was tested. Defining soulmate from best friend, Eve has begun a new life with Ian, one that includes, at long last, the child for whom she has always prayed.

Raised in Fremont, California, Ms. Pinson was a newcomer to daytime television, having starred in various television commercials. She has guest-starred as "Cici," opposite Jenna Elfman and Thomas Gibson, in "Dharma & Greg." Her film credits include "Sgt. Bilko," "Unstrung Heroes" and "Mambo Kings."

After Ms. Pinson auditioned for the role of Eve, she took a trip to Egypt and had to wait two weeks to find out if she had won the role. Anxious to learn the outcome, Ms. Pinson called her manager daily from Egypt, but ultimately was back home when she discovered that she had landed the role.

She has twice been nominated for Best Supporting Actress for the Soap Opera Digest Awards.

Ms. Pinson's many interests include target shooting, collecting Barbie dolls, reading horror novels, traveling and going to the movies with her girlfriends. Additionally, she is an animal lover and is looking forward to becoming more involved in animal-based charities.

Ms. Pinson resides in Los Angeles.
