Nolan North Dr. Chris Ramsey on Port Charles 
Nolan North plays Dr. Chris Ramsey on the ABC Daytime drama "Port Charles." The multi-leveled Dr. Ramsey will stop at nothing to claim what he feels belongs to him. As Chief Resident of the hospital, Chris has no qualms about throwing around his power. His desire to be in control found him chasing a young skirt, Livvie Locke, who was in love with his younger, defiant brother, Jack. When that didn't pan out, Chris found himself alone, again. But have no fear, his best friend -- Dr. Eve Lambert -- soon became the next in a line of prospects. Dr. Ramsey will always find a way to remain on top of the world, even if it's a solo venture.A native of New England, North was born in Connecticut and raised in Rhode Island. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on a baseball scholarship and received a degree in journalism. North later went on to Boston, where he did graduate work in communications at Emerson College. After nearly a year as a reporter in New Jersey, he moved to New York City to pursue a career as an actor and stand-up comedian. With a natural flair for comic impressions, Nolan keeps his castmates laughing.
His efforts eventually led him to Hollywood and the wonderful town of "Port Charles." In his spare time North is an avid golfer and fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. He resides in Los Angeles with his wife and son. Vital Statistics
