Jon Lindstrom Dr. Kevin Collins on Port Charles
One-year after introducing the multi-dimensional character of Dr. Ryan Chamberlain on "General Hospital," Jon Lindstrom created the endearing role of Dr. Kevin Collins, his twin brother. Launched in June 1997, Dr. Collins is one of two founding characters on "Port Charles." Keeping in line with the nature of Daytime, Kevin was recently divorced from his wife and best friend, Dr. Eve Lambert and reunited with soulmate Lucy Coe. Through nothing short of torture by Rachel Locke, he also discovered that he fathered a beautiful girl, Livvie Locke, with his deceased ex-fiancé, Grace. Now on the path of danger and intrigue, Lucy and Kevin have assumed the familiar roles of town detectives, placing themselves, yet again, in harm's way.Born in the Pacific Northwest, Mr. Lindstrom attended the University of Oregon where he studied theater and music. Upon graduation Mr. Lindstrom moved to Los Angeles and began studying with some of the most prominent acting teachers, including Lee Strasberg, Stella Adler and Jeff Corey. His telefilm credits include the Jim and Tammy Faye Baker saga, "Fall From Grace," and "The Alamo: Thirteen Days to Glory," with Alec Baldwin and the late Raul Julia. Mr. Lindstrom was also seen on the successful daytime drama "Santa Barbara," from 1985-86. At the recent Soap Opera Digest Awards, he took home the award for Best Supporting Actor. Mr. Lindstrom's feature film credits include the HBO movie "Introducing Dorothy Dandridge," "Point of Seduction," with Andrew Stevens and Morgan Fairchild, and "Listen to Me," with Roy Scheider. A talented musician and drummer, Lindstrom has recorded an album, "Feel Free to Do So," with his band, The High Lonesome, who performed at the 2000 Super Soap Weekend in Orlando. He also completed a screenplay with fellow actor Thomas Schanley. An active athlete, Lindstrom is a skilled scuba diver, an expert skier and has studied martial arts for a number of years. He enjoys traveling, so much so that he has backpacked through much of Europe and the United States. He has studied directing at UCLA and shot numerous short subject films. He is married to actress Eileen Davidson and they live in Southern California. Vital Statistics
