Kevin Stapleton Kevin Buchanan on One Life To Live Kevin Stapleton joined the cast of "One Life to Live" in January, 1996. Stapleton makes his television debut in the role of charming Kevin Buchanan, the eldest of the three Buchanan children, a handsome young journalist, determined to fulfill his ambitions as a top-notch investigative newspaperman. Kevin is also determined to maintain his relationship with beautiful fellow journalist Cassie Carpenter, who walked out on her marriage to pursue a relationship with him. Stapleton was born and raised in Bayonne, New Jersey. After graduating from Colorado University at Boulder and a brief stint in the business world, he studied at the Neighborhood Playhouse and The Actor's Studio in New York. When he is not working, Stapleton enjoys softball, football and cooking, and actively participates in the charities Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and Drama League. Vital Statistics
