Samuel Ball Drew Buchanan on One Life To Live Newcomer Samuel Ball joined "One Life to Live" in May, 1998, playing headstrong Drew Buchanan. Formerly estranged from his father, Bo Buchanan, Drew is trying to put his past behind him and regain the trust of the beautiful Kelly Cramer. Ball was raised in Bunker Hill, West Virginia, and attended Shepherd College, receiving a chemistry degree with a minor in radio broadcasting. His first professional role was in a pilot for German television called "5NY," and he went on to appear in the films, "Scattershot," "Passion 97" and "All Good Children Go to Heaven." When he is not acting, Ball enjoys working behind the camera as a director and a writer. He also is a talented musician, playing bass guitar and percussion.
