Crystal Chappell Maggie Carpenter on One Life To Live Crystal Chappell joined the cast of "One Life to Live" in October, 1995, as Maggie Carpenter, the feisty, rebellious cousin of Rev. Andrew Carpenter. Maggie's relationship with businessman Max Holden is on the brink of unraveling, due to Max's secret betrayal. Born in Silver Springs, Maryland, Crystal spent most of her formative years moving throughout South Carolina and Maryland with her family. Drawn to the arts at an early age, she appeared in several theater productions in high school and college, before moving to New York after graduation to pursue her career. A fan favorite, Crystal is best known to daytime television audiences for her portrayal of the brilliant and sultry Dr. Carly Manning on "Days of Our Lives," a role she played from 1990 to 1993. Her immense popularity garnered her the Soap Opera Award for Hottest Female Star in 1993. Crystal's other daytime television credits include roles on "All My Children" and "Santa Barbara." In addition to her daytime roles, Crystal has appeared in two feature films, "Lady in Waiting" and "Bigfoot"; and guest-starred on several primetime series, including "Diagnosis Murder," "Walker, Texas Ranger," "Burke's Law" and "Silk Stalkings." When not working, Crystal enjoys running, scuba diving, skiing and hiking, as well as spending time with her dogs and cats. Crystal currently resides in Manhattan. Vital Statistics
