Julia Whelan
Grace Manning on Once and Again

Julia Whelan comes from the great Northwest, where she traveled to Ashland on a yearly basis to watch Shakespearean plays since she was six years of age.

Julia began a more serious pursuit of acting at age 10 when she began studying with Geof Prysirr, a relationship that has continued for the past five years.

Whelan has made guest appearances on "Nowhere Man," "Promised Land" and most recently, the Christmas episode of "ER." She has also appeared in two television movies: "Christmas Everyday" and "15 and Pregnant," opposite Kirsten Dunst.

After completing high school, she intends to pursue an education in both psychology and acting because she finds them equally relevant in understanding human behavior and the characters she hopes to play.
