Steven Eckholdt Robbie Graham on It's Like, You Know...
Steven Eckholdt's character, Robbie, in ABC's comedy series, "It's Like, You Know...," is a self-made millionaire transplanted from New York to L.A. "At times, Robbie is glib and opportunistic, but all in all he is a nice guy -- and he has happily succumbed to the temptations of L.A.," says Mr. Eckholdt.This isn't Mr. Eckholdt's first experience with sitcoms. He had a recurring role as "the guy who broke up Ross and Rachel" on "Friends"; as Ellen's old boyfriend in the infamous "coming out" episode of "Ellen"; and as "the guy with the funny laugh" on "Wings." He also appeared as a regular on "L.A. Law"; the Kennedy-esque family drama, "The Monroes"; and the cult favorite, "Grapevine." He had recurring roles in "The Practice," "Melrose Place" (11 episodes) and "Life Goes On." He has had guest-starring roles in "Maximum Bob," "George & Leo" and "The Naked Truth," among others. Mr. Eckholdt has appeared in numerous television movies, including ABC's "I Know What You Did," opposite Rosanna Arquette, as well as "The Stranger Beside Me" and "Message From Nam." His feature film credits include roles in "Just in Time" and "For Keeps," and he recently completed filming his role as Robin Wright Penn's ex-husband in the upcoming feature, "Message in a Bottle," also starring Kevin Costner and Paul Newman. Mr. Eckholdt has also appeared in more than 50 television commercials. Married to actress Kirsten Getchell, Mr. Eckholdt resides in Los Angeles.
