Inspired by a commercial on television when she was just five years old, Ashley Monique Clark announced to her parents that she would like to try acting. Shortly thereafter, a family friend referred them to an agent.

Ashley remembers her audition with the agent as a lot of fun, where she was asked to "make lots of different faces and to remember lines for a commercial."

She went on to appear in several commercials, and her television credits include appearances on "Nickelodeon Sports Theater," "Moesha," "Sunset Beach," "Picket Fences," "The Parent 'Hood," "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" and "Chicago Hope."

Ashley has also accrued several feature film credits, including "Ed TV," "Bruno," "Letter to My Mother," "A Nite With Beau Willie Brown," "Liar Liar" and "Encino Woman."

In her free time, Ashley likes to play with her 11-year-old brother, Nathaniel, and their four Akita dogs.

Nine-year-old Ashley, who lives with her family in the San Fernando Valley, aspires to many careers.

"When I grow up," she said, "I would like to be an animal trainer, an actress, artist, model, veterinarian, or even a doctor. I may be all of them, but I have lots of time to decide."
