Kolls contributes in a variety of areas, including gardening, crafts, and creative ideas that make use of the garden. She also continues as the host of Rebecca's Garden the syndicated television program produced by Hearst-Argyle and seen weekly on 150 television stations.

Kolls, a former meteorologist for WCCO-TV in Minnesota, has also filled in for Tony Perkins, GMA's new weather forecaster. She debuted as the substitute weather forecaster during the week of Feb. 8.

Kolls is the creative consultant for Rebecca's Garden Magazine, which was launched in 1998 and has a newsstand distribution of more 350,000. She is also the author of Rebecca's Garden: Four Seasons to Grow On, published in Apr. 1988, by Avon Books.

She currently resides in Wisconsin with her husband and two children.
