Kin Shriner Scott Baldwin on General Hospital
Kin Shriner created the role of Scotty Baldwin on "General Hospital" in 1977, and continued with the character, off and on, through the early 90s. Over the course of his long and rollicking run in Port Charles, Scotty progressed from a sweet, lovesick kid to a struggling law student, and finally a sexy man with a heart of gold. After being away from "General Hospital" for several years, Scott dramatically returned to "Port Charles," the "General Hospital" spin-off series in June, 1997. Shriner recenly returned to "General Hospital" full time, as he reclaims past love with Laura Spencer, while keeping ties with his "Port Charles" family. Shriner also appeared in the Daytime dramas "Texas" and "Rituals," in the ABC miniseries "War and Remembrance," in "Echo" and "Crying Child" -- with Mariel Hemmingway -- and in various theatrical movies, including "Vendetta," "Kidnapped" and "Angel III."
